Welcome to ConvertDo. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using our website and services. By accessing or using ConvertDo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About ConvertDo

ConvertDo is an online, browser-based image conversion tool. Our service lets users convert supported image files into other formats directly on their own device.

ConvertDo is built to keep the process simple and privacy-friendly. In normal use, your uploaded images are processed locally in your browser and are not stored by us.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using ConvertDo, you confirm that:

  • you are legally allowed to agree to these Terms;
  • you will use the website in a lawful and responsible way; and
  • you understand that your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should stop using ConvertDo.

Your files remain yours. ConvertDo does not claim ownership of the images or files you use with the service.

  • keeping your own backup copies where necessary.

Because ConvertDo is browser-based, we do not normally receive, store, review, or keep your uploaded images as part of the conversion process.

6. Browser-Based Processing

ConvertDo is designed so that image conversion happens on your device, inside your browser. This means we do not ordinarily have access to the image content itself during conversion.

You understand that internet browsers, devices, and local environments vary. Because of that, we cannot guarantee that the service will work perfectly on every browser, device, file type, or operating system.

7. Intellectual Property

The ConvertDo website, including its name, branding, design, layout, text, logos, software, features, and other content provided by us, is owned by or licensed to ConvertDo and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website only for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit any part of ConvertDo except where the law clearly allows it or where we have given written permission.

8. Copyright and User Responsibility

You must not use ConvertDo to process or convert content that you do not have permission to use.

By using the service, you confirm that:

  • you own the files you use, or you have permission to use them;
  • your use of the files does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights; and
  • your use of ConvertDo complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

If we receive a valid complaint that content or activity connected to your use of the service violates the rights of another person or party, we may investigate and take appropriate action, including restricting access to the service.

You use ConvertDo at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertDo and its owner, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

  • lost data;
  • corrupted files;
  • lost profits;
  • lost business opportunities;
  • service interruption;
  • device issues;
  • software incompatibility; or
  • any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, ConvertDo.

If we are found liable for any claim related to the service, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, to use the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you used the service for free, our total liability will be limited to the minimum amount allowed by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConvertDo and its owner, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and ConvertDo regarding your use of the website and replace any earlier understandings relating to the same subject.
